Heartfull MeditationTM

This class teaches you the easy to learn meditation techniques as taught by Savitri, co-founder of Purna Yoga.  You will learn to direct your mental and vital eneergies to your heart.  As you calm your mind and release your ego your life will start to transform.  This 30 minute class is designed to be combined with the Restorative Yoga class for a very healing experience.  It can also be taken as a class on its own to deepen your practice and connect you with your inner light.

Restorative Yoga

If you have a hectic life and suffer from exhaustion this therapeutic class will offer you relief.  This 75 minute practice involves 5 or 6 poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and restore while calming the nervous system.  Along with Pranayama (breath control) and Heartfull MeditationTM the practice will make for a soothing experience.

Basics-Level 1

In this 75 minute class, learn the basic movements of Purna Yoga.  We teach people not poses, so the practice is focused on your individual needs.  The yoga poses are refined from Adil Palkhivala's many years studying under BKS Iyenga.  the practice empahsizes correct alignment for safe and effective movements.  Several series will be taught including, standing posses, preparation for headstand and shoulderstand, twist, gentle back bend and of couse there is Savasana at the end of every class.

Purna Yoga Level 1

This 90 miutes class incorporates all the tools of Purna Yoga.   Class begins with Heartfull MeditationTM, gentle warm-ups, alignment based poses (asana), and breath control (pranayama).  We also discuss applied philosophy as well as lifestyle and nutrition choices.   Start your weekend with this complete* yoga class.            *the word complete in Sanskrit is Purna
